  San Fernando General Hospital is where my mother & my uncle started their careers circa 1974-1975 during the Watergate scandal. I know that the hospital has changed and transformed drastically over the years. In fact, they have expanded and now have a training hospital. I know people in Trinidad will have their take/ views on this place, but as time goes on, you have to keep pace with the times and the technology.

  Thank God for excellent nurses at SFGH, ward 15B. I could not ask for a more caring, compassionate team of professional women. They seem to love their work and their patients. The atmosphere was wonderful. However, the doctors who tried to help me seemed not to be sure of what they were doing. Eventually I was discharged after a blood transfusion , and some iron, (my blood count was too low ), and told to return if my bleeding gets worse.(This is the second time in 3 weeks that I was told this.) The D and C was done 3 weeks ago and no results could be found, no surgery appointment to remove the fibroids which has been causing me to bleed for over one year. Please help me pray for these doctors. My name is Lucille.

  Being an out patient at two clinics,we can attest to the fact that staff try their best to assist patients as best they can,given the conditions they work under.
