  This crematorium owned by the Port of Spain City Corporation is an alternative to burial as cemetery space is rapidly becoming less available. Recently I attended a funeral here and was disappointed to see the grounds and shrubbery in need of attention and garbage strewn around the area where the concrete tables and benches are located.
