  Be careful of the FALSE CLOSING TIMES posted here. On Friday 28th May 2021, this post indicated that the bank will be closed at 5:00 p.m. To my surprise, the bank was CLOSED at 2:00 p.m. and to make matters worse, the Manager himself (Mr. Aamir Pirali) was most unhelpful and shut the door on me. I would prefer to give a ZERO star here on this rating scale... However, if I do NOT select at least a 1, then I will NOT be allowed to post this comment (again, the banks have control).

  I had a very pleasant and respectful experience visiting Scotiabank's Chaguanas branch. I came in to open a bank account and was swiftly taken care of.

  the worst absolutely the worst been banking with them for some years requested a point of sale machine refusing to process my request and telling me i have to get yearly financials.tried contacting manager but to no avail. worst branch in the history of banking in the world. tellers are so rude from top to staff.the worst do not even open a account there.

  Scotiabank . I love the idea of Scotiabank. However, the reality of the their customer service team or rather lack thereof is very glaring. The best branch for any service from my experience is Price Plaza, followed closely by Maraval Ellerslie Plaza and Tunapuna ( on the corner of EMR and St. John's Road). There's a tie for first place for the worst customer service branches, High Street, Trincity, Cipero Street. I think if local Upper Management of this potentially great financial institution put some small suggestions in place, the great gain benefits would far outway the expenditure, cost that would make Scotiabank be a great financial giant.
