  Holistic car services, a little on the higher range of pricing but I guess they make up for it in knowledge and versatility.

  6 years ago, they would have gotten 4 stars. Today, in 2017, they get two. Here's why. On April 10th, 2017, I arrived at 8:06 a.m. to have the pickup's upper ball joints and upper cradle arm bushings replaced. I had the parts. There was one vehicle in front of me, which had an electric fan replacement. Work began on my vehicle at 9:15 a.m. or so. But then the mechanic working on it got pulled off to deal with simple issues that others could have dealt with themselves - from dealing with rear brakes of an elderly woman (who ended up spending 3 hours there yesterday on what should have been at most a 1 hour job), to dealing with the pulley of an alternator, to helping the two other men fasten wheels. The floor manager, if there was one, kept pulling people away from my vehicle. They got the parts out before lunch. After lunch (2 p.m.), I was told that they couldn't press the cradle arm bushings out despite the fact that they had a press. I was asked to go get it done elsewhere, to which I replied, "Sure, let me get in my pickup and... oh wait. It's missing the upper cradle arms. I can't go anywhere." Duh. So, they relented and said that they would send them out to get done - at 3 p.m., but that I would need to leave the vehicle overnight. My response was that had they left the mechanic on my vehicle and let others do their respective jobs, we would have found their inability to use their own press hours earlier and we wouldn't be in this predicament. Before leaving, I asked the office woman if she had my number. She responded that she did. I asked again, to be sure, for a total of 2 times. She said she did again. A cousin picked me up. In the morning, I waited to hear from Ramasir's about the status of my vehicle. This was, after all, a job that should only have taken 2-3 hours. Nothing. At 12:40 p.m. I called, and I was told over the phone that my vehicle would be ready in an hour. I walked over there, since I did not have transportation, and since it was a wonderful day to get hot and sweaty - and irked. 1 hour and twenty minutes later, I had been there for 30 minutes and saw the vehicle EXACTLY as I had left it the day before. Exactly. On jacks and jackstands (see image). And it was easy to tell that, once again, my vehicle was on the backburner - I even saw the pickup that needed the new distributor pulley parked outside, despite having come in after me yesterday by 3 hours. I confronted the woman in the office about it, to which I got the meek response, "It's not my fault". She kept trying to talk while I was speaking, rather than opening her ears she was satisfied with opening her mouth. Within moments, she hit the floor and I heard her speaking loudly - as if it were the fault of those directed rather than the one directing. To their credit, they gave as good as they got, and after that died down, I saw people start huddling around my vehicle so that, an hour later, I would be out - having paid $1,200 TT, wasted 2 days and gotten to the point where I was projecting my voice *just* so I could get my vehicle back today. And later, she stood by the vehicle joking around with some gossip about some ways different women handle pregnancy. I bit my tongue. I had said enough, and simply wanted to be out of there. The mechanic offered a free body wash for the pickup- but for me, that seemed a horrible answer to the treatment I received. The owner, normally a gregarious sort, was nowhere to be found - and I'm someone who he normally introduces as a cousin. That's the trouble with pumpkin-vine family, I suppose. I'd suggest people find other places to go with this level of service. That they are understaffed at this time is an understatement, but the management of the floor demonstrated a disrespect to consumers. Some have said that this is what should be expected at places of business in Trinidad and Tobago. I do not beg, but I do differ.
